Sorry for the long delay in posting any new info. I've been busy cutting teeth (I have 8 now, but you can only really see 6 of them), getting ear infections (my first one - quite pleasant), going to day-care, going to Montana on vacation, making my mom quit her job (her last day is Friday, July 13), and being on the go-go-go. My mom envys babies she sees that just sit in one place, contentedly. I'm not like that. As my dad says, I like to "RUN!GET!GO!" Either that, or "CRY!FUSS!WHINE".
I eat pretty much all food now (in small pieces) - even shrimp and pepperoni pizza, which is delicious. My favorite foods are: cheese, avocado, garden-burgers, fresh fruit, yogurt & ice cream (when I'm lucky enough to get a taste).
My latest stats at 9 1/2 months are 21 lbs & 30 inches long.

I got my pictures taken by a real photographer today! Mom and the picture-lady pulled out all the tricks to try to get me to smile nice for the camera.... but I wouldn't be fooled. I only laugh at funny things, and they were just being dumb. I still had fun though - I was very intrigued by the whole process.

March was very eventful for me!

I finally figured out crawling - and now I like to be on the floor at all times. My favorite things to get into are: black dogs, the stereo, brooms, and any kind of knobs. Oh, I also like to look underneath the rugs. Mom says her floors have never been cleaner - as now she cleans them a lot more than she used to!
At my 6 month appointment, all went well. 17.3 lbs & 27.5 inches long are my latest "stats". I'm still considered pretty big for a little girl my age. And I still have a pin-head.
I eat solid food twice a day now. I really like bananas, squash, carrots, applesauce, yogurt, cereal puffs & avocado. I don't really like oatmeal or peas.

My bottom 2 teeth just broke thru this weekend! I haven't really been too crabby about it....I guess I've been lucky.
I think I'm going to figure out crawling very soon. I can scoot around in a circle fairly easily, and can barrel-roll across the floor to get where I want to go......but I'm just learning that I need to raise my butt in the air to actually get onto my knees. Anoop (my daycare "mom"), says I will be crawling in 2 weeks - we'll see what she knows. I'll keep you updated.
Still digging the carrots. I eat a lot of them. I hear rumors that peas and avocados are next..... I'm not too excited about my rice cereal anymore - BORING.

I'm loving the deeelicious carrots my mom is feeding me every day now! I don't think I was too fond of the sweet potatoes (seemed to give me gas), but the carrots are supberb mush! I've been sleeping a little longer overnight now that I'm eating more solid food.... and my naps during the day are getting shorter.
When I get on the scale at home, I weigh about 17 lbs.

Almost sitting up by myself
Sleeping 10-11 hrs at night
Eating rice cereal once a day
Like to watch TV, but my parents try to keep me away from it
Had my first complete melt-down in my carseat. I made my parents pull over it was so bad
Had my first cold. That was enjoyable. I don't like to eat when I'm sick. And I don't like that blue suction bulb up my nose!
Overall, everyone says I am laid-back and look like my dad
I'm big for my age. Please just don't call my "husky"

I'm rolling over all the time now....but then I quicky get annoyed, because I can't figure out how to get back to my starting position.
Today I went to a kid's dance clinic (tagged along with mom for her work), and I was squealing with delight looking at all the kids dancing. I wonder if my mom will get me go to a dance clinic hosted by the Sonics dance team, when I get old enough?
